How To...with some helpful links...

I did mention when I was
making my Rag Rug that I could do
a tutorial...

Granny Vintage Rag Rug...

But after a lot of google searching I found some great gals
that have already done just that...
Great tutorials
can be found on these sites...
So please check them out...
They are very easy to follow
and pretty much how I do mine...

Now if you want some inspiration to get motivated...
Check out the Flickr Rag Rug Group...

Now on to some other crocheting projects...

The crochet Green top is finished!!!
Yeah...
It does actually look much better on
than flat on the floor...

Crocheted sleeveless cardigan...

I should be receiving the yarn to finish two of my other tops early next week...
Can't wait...
I will be sure to try and model the pretty cream one when I finish...
That will be a keeper for sure...

I do hope your week has been sweet...
I am looking forward to the weekend but they do say there is 90% chance of rain...
I suppose you can't have everything...

But rainy weather is good for staying inside and crocheting some more

I remember my 'little' gran having these crochet rag rugs around her house, seeing the photos has brought back memories - might even give it a try!

Your green top is very pretty Michelle! Thanks for the tutorials on making rag rugs. One of these days I will have to try making one. I like them because you can pop them in the wash. It's raining here too. Dark and dreary again. But perfect for crocheting!

Love the Rag Rug Michelle! Thanks for sharing the other sites that also show how to make the rugs but what I think would be neat is if there where a written pattern instead of videos, to help know exactly where to increase and decrease a stitch when making one. Just a suggestion...Love the top too, your so talented!!! Sorry to hear that you ran out of yarn. I hate that too!! Can't wait to see your finished projects!Have a blessed day! :)

Love your rag rug!! It might just be the thing to make to motivate me to do some painting in the bathroom.

Nice finish to the green top :-) We had rain and hail this weekend and it would have been nice to stay in and craft if it wasn't 39 degrees inside....whew! Hail soon put an end to that heat wave :-)

I love this idea for a rag rug - I must make one. How thick is your rag string? I love your crochet bunnies as well - I must knit some more of my bunnies. I'm having a little festive giveaway - I hope you will be able to join in!
