New Artwork...In progress..

Crochet classes started last week
with the Granny Flats cushion...
We are taking it nice and slowly and working one square at a time...
with homework of the matching two square...
so after 3 classes the front should be finished...

We are going to have an extra class for working on the back
and going through the instruction on crocheting the two together etc...

For class I needed to make a few extra squares to pass around
and have a look at etc...
But then...

I did get a tad carried away and ended up with a lovely long row
of
Granny Terraces..

Granny Flats Artwork...

I have bought a canvas board that is just the right size (120cm x 40 cm)
and will put a layer of wading under the crochet work...
add some sides and secure it all into place...

Oh... that is after I finish those two outlines on the door...
Just noticed that...

Hopefully I will be able to take some photo's of the lovely finished cushions from class...

Until then

Keep up the Granny Goodness...
and don't forget to pre-order your copy of Dottie Angels up coming book...
It look amazing!!!

You will never know what a huge influence on people you don't even know, like moi! I crochet to wind down from my former hobby and now work, soap, bath and body products creation. My crochet is all for me. My pleasure, my closet, my family. I love your art and I cherish your work so much, I've learned how to cherish things I create for me and not feel compelled to be 100% perfect and sell it. just to love it cause I did it. Thank you.

Go to art shows and likes to artists they have studied. But please be considerate. An artist is working on selling their art during a presentation. Do not monopolize their time since they have to sell to eat and keep creating. Step back in silence if someone enters the exhibition area and wait until the artist is free to talk to you a little or make arrangements to discuss things later.
