Granny Square Apron...

After spotting this pattern on Sara's Blog
I had to give it a try...

I will definitely give this pattern another go...
and find some Cotton worsted weight yarn...Or equivalent...
As I think mine turned out a little bit smaller
than it should be...

Granny Square Apron

I still think it is pretty cute...
and quite like wearing it
while I work...
or sit...
or blog...

Thanks Sara...
It gets
a Granny Good
hug of approval...

Let us know how you go tracking down worsted weight cotton yarn in Oz... I have a lot of trouble finding it, especially 100% cotton.

Oooh I have seen it too and want one! Looks really cute and I think it is supposed to be small. I just keep wondering when I would wear it though as I don't really wear aprons hmmmmmm..... x

That is great, can see adding a pocket and using it as a peg pinny.

Try this website for 100% cotton, they are in Brisbane and I have ordered from the many times great service etc oh and BTW no affiliation with them just a happy customer :)

Aww... I love it! Thanks so much for sending me the link. I am a huge fan of your blog. Your photos always amaze me. Just spotted your granny slippers. Not sure why but they made me giggle. They look just like crochet Crocs. How fun! Thanks for spreading the granny apron inspiration here at The Royal Sisters. :)

I love Sara's blog too! She posts such adorable patterns and interesting projects. Your granny apron is just so cute.

I'm not surprised many of your photos have made it to Explore. I just about flipped when I saw that one of my photos made it recently.

Have a lovely day Michelle! I'm off to ripple.
