The Waiting Place

Have you ever read the children's book...
Oh, The Places You'll Go
by Dr Seuss???
I have...

It describes The Waiting Place...
I think that's were I have been stuck
for quite some time...

And as the story goes...
I need to escape...

Maybe it has been a combination of things...
The excessive heat...frying my brain...
Work...Sweating kilo's off me...
Uncertainty of what to do next...
Yes just waiting...

Sometimes it's not hard...
To kick ones butt!!!
Maybe I just need to buy a bigger pair of shoes...

I have been very remiss in not blogging...and for that I feel quite bad...

So until I shake myself out of it all...
Or buy some enormous shoes...

I will try to keep you close
and all of your sweet comments even closer...

Maybe the start of the Chinese New Year will do it...
I mean honesty who can resist the year of the rabbit...
How cute are they...

And I will leave you with a pic
of me this morning...
Trying to start on improving my disposition...

Hugs to you all...

P.S...If you would like a copy of the Chevron Granny Blanket pattern
please just e-mail me and I will send you out a PDF...

Dearest, your photo is wonderful!
I can tell you that I have been wandering around pacing in wait a little myself recently. We will come round I'm sure of it. With something learned and new things to show for it.
You are truly lovely!

Hang in there, here in the US, so many people are stuck under a ton of snow. I live in Florida so I'm not but the weather here has been very grey. I love your red shoes, those would make me smile if I had them on.
Have a wonderful day,
Meredith

Oh thank you for reminding me of that book! It is a timely reminder for me and i shall dig it out when I get home and take some solace. Change is afoot, michelle, i cannot believe the amount of people around me who are going thru big transitions, or feeling restless and befuddled. Lovely pic btw and nice to see you 'on the page' again. jxx

I too have been stuck in the waiting place and all I can say is that it too will pass. Every morning make sure the first thing you do is smile. It is amazing how that one little smile can make a world of a difference. Cheer up my dear friend :)

Michelle,
Everyone needs to escape now and then...I've been feeling a lot of that myself lately, after a major shift in my world. Things get better.

I think most of us feel like this at one time or another, maybe it is the downtime after Christmas?

Oh and Michelle will get to my "petal" over the weekend - fingers crossed :)

I think waiting is a natural process - sometimes the mind and body just need some calm time - like treading water, you think you are going nowhere, but it is a good way of staying afloat.

Michelle!

Isn't Dr. Suess the best?

I'm thinking of you today and hoping that you have a wonderful day.

Thanks for all of the crafty inspiration that you share with all of us. Now is time to take tender loving care of yourself... but know that you're cared for and thought of today.

Feeling a little (a lot) the same myself - maybe it is the weather ☺
I thought I knew all the Dr Suess's, learn something new every day - pity no kids to read it to - oh well, I love reading to myself ☺ ☺

I think you put into words what many of us feel. I'd love your pdf for the chevron granny, but am afraid I'm not sure how to email you.

My email is christine.long.tg@gmail.
Thanks!

Dearest Michelle,
Thank you for sharing....your thoughts are beautifully expressed. No one should feel obligated to blog and yet we all do from time to time, even when we love it so much! Sometimes a little break to take care of your self is the perfect solution.

Love the photo, love your words and sending you a {hug} x
