Warming the heart and tummy...

When it starts to get cool
I love nothing better than cooking...
And eating...
Today I had the fuel stove stoked up
and a pot of pea and ham soup bubbling away...
Just a perfect lunch...

Oh not forgeting some chocolate sponge rolls for
an after snack...
and a little light reading...

I also had an interview today for a story in one of the local papers...
Yeah...
Spreading the hooky love...

Speaking of Hooks...
Do my lovelies know of a online shop to bulk buy crochet hooks?
I need size 3.5mm
and do prefer metal
but candy bright are ok as well...
And I need them to accept paypal...
Big ask I know
but if anyone has any suggestions they will be much appreciated...

So back to the stove I go...
Just to warm the hands...
then a bit of pattern writing for my classes...

I have had some sweeties ring already...
Eeeekkkk...

Love the kitchen shot and that lovely enamel yellow pot looks so good with the blue wall. I wish I could pop over for a taste!

I also wish I could sign up for one of your classes, now that would be a grand thing. You are going to shine my dear, I have no doubt.

Hello from New York, where we are gradually getting through a springtime that has done a bit of fast forward, then slow, prolonged backup.

Wish I knew where to suggest you could find those crochet hooks ... is it wrong to suggest the home site for a few of the best manufacturers and see what they might offer?

Love soup, any season. Yours looks really perfect for lunch.

Wanted to let you know that I'm investigating various circle in the square granny crochet patterns and really, really do like yours. The tutorial is clear, and the results (with a different gauge of yarn and hook) really did square the inner circles gracefully.

Many thanks. xo

Dear Maddalena...
Thanks for the listing...
I do need the same size thou...
But it did help me find another etsy seller who has some...
I will be comparing prices at the moment...

If anyone knows of an australian company that would be good as I am worried about shipping times...The ones on etsy could take over two weeks...

Thanks Lola...
The pot actually came with the house...lol...
It is cast iron and very very heavy...The outside is baked enamel...
It's great to cook in but really hard to lift...
