100th post...

Well i feel almost a bit star treky
with this
Michelle's log... post 100...in a galaxy far, far, away...
or maybe not....
well it has been a bit between posts as i have
had a fair bit of work to get through...
one thing i really wanted to finish to put up
was this pizza carry bag...
as the story goes...
there is a very sweet old man that comes
to our business most nights
for the usual chat and social get together with his mates
and every sunday he gets me to make up a pizza
and he takes it home for him and his wife's dinner
it is rather sweet and he has always brought down
a very old and rather worn out "library bag"
to take his pizza home with him...

one night he had forgotten to bring down the "bag"
and it got me think i really need to stop and think
about other people and how spending a
bit of time and make something for someone else can
just make someone feel "thought of"

so here it is, the pizza carrier
complete with funky cowboy material
and handles positioned to insure that the pizza
sits flat for the walk home...

Now on
another
subject,
giveaway
time
i'm
not going to forget my fellow bloggers
and if you leave a comment and maybe even tell me of a "little joy"
you brought to someones day by making
or doing something for someone else...
it doesn't have to be earth shattering
just something sweet, i will put
you in my 100 giveaway to receive
this sweet babushka with the pretty blue eyes...

have a great weekend and i will post some pics after the
quilt show this weekend...

I love doing little things that make people happy but it's so hard to remember these random bits of sweetness because they're just part of us. Let's see....the last thing I remember doing is when I was in Charleston last month we had to ride a bus to a restaurant we were going to and it was packed full. An older lady got on the bus and she seemed rather feeble and delicate. She tried to hold onto the bar but it was difficult for her to maintain her balance. So, I told her she could take my seat and guided her to it. I stood up for the rest of the trip but that was a-ok with me.

Love your pizza carrier - most inspired! Congratulations on your 100 posts - I always love to stop by to see what you are up to. The most recent things I have made/done for someone was taking down my son's school trousers. He is growing so fast - at least now his ankles aren't showing.

Congratulations on post 100.I love the pizza carrier, what a kind and inspired thing to create.
Yesterday I went and visited my lovely neighbour who has just lost her 83yo mum. She is of course pretty down in the dumps, so we looked at old photos and got a bit teary.
But we perked up when we saw our 2 cats chilling out together in her backyard!

Love the Pizza bag and am sure you made someone feel very special. I like to share flowers from my garden when I go and visit people. I used to be much better at it before I had kids, but you have reminded me how good something like that makes people fee. Thanks. BTW Congratulations on 100 posts!

oh I love your pizza carrier what a lovely idea!! This is quite small but felt nice nonetheless, I was in the fruit and vegie shop the other day and helped a dear old man get the plastic bag off the roller thingy, sometimes it is very hard to do if your fingers don't work properly!

Congratulations on your 100th post! And what a wonderful pizza carrier, and a lovely gesture!
I discovered your blog whilst looking at other ladies crafty blogs. I really like it and will definately be back. :)

I love doing things for other people, so I'm often baking cakes and biscuts (when my oven is working that is,) and giving them to my friends. I have a mate who loves my cookies and cream cheesecake that I make, so I made it for him out of the blue one day and suprised him with it. He loved it! He was half tempted to keep it all to himself, but shared it with me! :D
