Grandma's Garden

I made this up by accident
As I was trying to convert my grandma petal brooch into a granny square...
But...
my flowers have 6 petals and I needed 8
to convert to 4 spaces at the back to continue with the granny square...
Now doing that many petals has a tendency to be way too wavy...
So after many attempts
I just thought I would go with the 8 petals
and see what happens...
And this is what happened...
A very wiggly center!!!
Cool!!!


After starting one I couldn't stop...
and next minute I had enough to make into a very
pretty cushion...

Just need to start the back...

We maybe tomorrow that is...
It is getting rather late
and us crocheters need our sleep...
Well sometimes!!!

    It looks just gorgeous and not by accident! I was playing around with a new motif tonight myself, and before I knew it i had 2 made, and another almost done, and then I knew i had a brand new obsession. Now I must put down the crochet and go to bed...perhaps after I just finish one more motif!
